What to transcribe?

Find a Piece

Your first objective is to find a piece of music that you would like to digitize. Some good websites for this are musopen.org, imslp.org, and sheetmusic-free.com. Make sure the piece is in the public domain. Some websites with free sheet music actually contain pirated content, which you should steer clear of. I go through all submissions and I won’t post anything that is still under copyright.

Once you have the piece, download it as a PDF. If you can’t find anything, I have several old books that are out of copyright. Email me at miladkbrown@gmail.com and I’ll take a scan and send it to you.
